Our Story
Taylor Made TDS, Inc. was founded in Burlington, Washington in March 2023 by Eric and Rosanne Wiesen — a family venture built on a deep love for this industry and this community. Eric brings hands-on commercial driving experience and runs NW Shippers, Inc., the regional trucking company founded by his father, Robert “Bob” Wiesen. Rosanne's background spans heavy truck engineering at PACCAR and 20+ years of leadership across trucking, manufacturing, and education.
We operate at the same Burlington location where CDL training at this site has been a community institution for over a decade — carrying on the standards set by Ed Taylor, the original CDL instructor at this location, who logged over 2 million accident-free miles and built one of the strongest CDL training records in the region.
Taylor Made trains drivers the way employers actually want them trained. We know what a safe, professional, job-ready driver looks like — because we've worked alongside them for decades.

Meet the Team
Eric Wiesen
Owner & Director
Eric is the current owner and President of NW Shippers, Inc., a regional trucking company based in Ferndale, Washington — founded by his father, Robert “Bob” Wiesen. He has over 30 years of experience as a regional Class A commercial truck driver, holds a certificate in Automotive Technology from Bellingham Technical College, and is a Regional Truck Rodeo award recipient in the 3-axle division.
Rosanne Wiesen
Owner & Administrator
Rosanne brings more than 20 years of executive leadership across trucking, manufacturing, and education. She was an Engineering Project Manager and Engineer at PACCAR for over 7 years, and served as VP and Senior Manager of Finance and Administration at NW Shippers, Inc. She holds a Bachelor's in Industrial Technology from Western Washington University and a Master's in Project Management from City University.
Jeanne Jensen
School Administrator
Jeanne brings nearly 30 years of experience in the truck driving industry in various capacities. She holds an associate degree in accounting and business administration and a master's degree in mathematics. She is exceptionally motivated and passionate about student success.

While two years is the minimum to instruct, many of our instructors have over 20 years behind the wheel. Our instructors are professional truck drivers first — they've logged millions of miles across every road condition imaginable, and they bring that real-world knowledge into every lesson.

Additionally, we've been delivering potatoes from local farmers to food banks and the emergency food network for Harvest Against Hunger. We've also moved a truckload of food from Snohomish to our local food bank. All this volunteer work supports our community.
