Taylor Made TDS, Inc., doing business as Taylor Made Truck Driving School, operates this website (taylormadetds.com). We are located in Burlington, WA and Ferndale, WA. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, where it goes, how long we keep it, and what rights you have under Washington State law. Plain language is intentional. If something is unclear, contact us.

1. Who This Policy Applies To

This policy applies to anyone who visits our website or submits one of our website forms — whether you’re a prospective student, an employer, or just browsing.

2. What Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly. Our website has three forms. Submitting any of them is voluntary.

• Enrollment inquiry form (/enroll): your name, phone number, email address, mailing address, the program and start date you are interested in, how you heard about us, how you plan to pay for training (for example self-pay, employer-sponsored or WorkSource WA), and any comments.
• Contact form (/contact): your name, phone number, email address, the program you are interested in, the topics you want to discuss (such as funding and payment options or a campus tour), and your message.
• Registration start (/register): your name, email address and phone number, and your acknowledgment of our Course Catalog. You then continue registration on our student management system’s website, which collects the information enrollment requires.

Our website forms do not ask about your health.

Information Collected Automatically. When you visit our website, standard web technologies may automatically collect your IP address, browser type and version, pages visited and time spent on each page, referring website, and device type. This information is collected through cookies and analytics tools described in Section 6 below.

3. Why We Collect This Information

We use the information you provide in our forms to respond to your inquiry about our CDL training programs and to begin the enrollment process if you choose to proceed. As described in Section 6, we also use the contact details you enter, in scrambled form, to measure which of our ads led to your inquiry. We collect automatically-collected information to understand how our website is being used and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. We do not use your information for any purpose other than what is described in this policy.

4. Where Your Information Goes

We do not sell your personal information. We do not give or rent your contact information to other companies to market their own products.

Form Submissions. When you submit any of our website forms, your information goes into our secure enrollment management system, where our student services staff review it and respond. Within our school, only staff who need it to help you can see it. General administrative correspondence goes to admin@taylormadetds.com.

Service Providers. Your information may be shared with the following as necessary to operate our business: our student management system (enrollment, progress, and scheduling), which receives your email address when you continue from our registration page; our online scheduling service, which receives your name and email address when you choose to book a call or campus visit; call tracking and attribution service (see Section 6); website analytics (see Section 6); embedded maps on our locations pages; chat widget / “Learn More” feature (captures name, phone, and/or email when voluntarily provided — see Section 6a); and web hosting and email delivery providers.

Advertising and Analytics Providers. We work with the advertising, analytics and call-tracking providers described in Section 6. They receive the information described there. We do not send them your comments or messages, your answers about funding or payment, or any health information.

Enterprise AI and Development Tools. We use enterprise AI tools for business operations including website development and content creation. These tools operate within private repositories with data privacy protections. No student personal data is used to train AI models.

5. How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain enrollment inquiry submissions for up to 3 years for business record-keeping purposes. If you request deletion, we will delete your information within 45 days, except where retention is required by law. If you become a student, applicable data retention regulations apply — some records may be retained for up to 50 years as required by federal DOT/FMCSA regulations and Washington State education records law.

6. Cookies, Pixels and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, pixels (small pieces of code or images), browser storage and similar technologies from us and from third-party providers. They help us:

• understand how visitors use our site (analytics);
• learn which ads, searches or links brought you to us, and whether you then called, contacted us or applied (conversion measurement); and
• show our ads to people who have visited our site, on other websites and apps (remarketing).

Who Provides Them. Advertising, analytics and call-tracking companies. The ones we use change as our advertising changes. Examples include Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads), Microsoft Advertising, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), OpenAI (ChatGPT ads) and CallRail. Agencies that manage our advertising may also set up these tools on our behalf.

What These Providers Can Receive.

• Technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, the ad or link you clicked, and identifiers stored in your browser.
• Which actions you took on our site, such as clicking a phone number or submitting a form.
• For call tracking, the number you call from and details of the call.
• When you submit a form, the contact details you entered, such as your name, email address, phone number or mailing address, in scrambled (hashed) form, so the provider can match your inquiry to its ad.

What We Do Not Send Them. Your comments or messages, your answers about funding or payment, or any health information. Our website forms do not ask health questions.

Each provider handles this information under its own privacy policy and terms, and may combine it with information it already holds about you, for example if you are signed in to its service.

Your Choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them. You can opt out of personalized ads from Google, Microsoft and Meta, or across many companies at optout.aboutads.info. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On.

Ad Attribution in Your Browser. When you arrive from an ad, we record in your browser how you found us, so we can tell which ad led to your inquiry.

Chat Widget / “Learn More” Feature. If you voluntarily provide your name, phone number, or email address through this feature, that information is captured and used to respond to your inquiry. This feature may use artificial intelligence — see Section 6a below.

6a. AI-Generated Content Disclosure

Our website may include a chat feature or automated response tool that uses artificial intelligence to provide informational responses about our programs, schedules, and enrollment process. AI-generated responses are for general informational purposes only. They do not constitute binding offers, enrollment agreements, guarantees of program availability, pricing commitments, or official school communications. All official program terms are governed solely by the signed Enrollment Agreement. If you have questions about specific program details, pricing, or availability, please contact us directly.

6b. Cloudflare Turnstile (Bot Protection)

Our website uses Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our contact and enrollment forms from automated bot submissions. Turnstile is an invisible security check — it runs automatically in the background when you interact with a form and does not interrupt your experience. Turnstile assesses browser signals to distinguish humans from bots. It does not use cookies, does not track you across websites, and does not display a CAPTCHA challenge to real users. Request metadata is processed by Cloudflare, Inc. in accordance with their privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

7. Washington State Privacy Rights

Washington residents have rights under the Washington My Health My Data Act (MHMD Act) and applicable Washington State privacy law. To the extent these laws apply to our operations, you have the right to:

• Know what personal data we have collected about you
• Access a copy of your personal data
• Correct inaccurate personal data we hold
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Opt out of the sale of your personal data (we do not sell personal data)
• Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights

Our website forms do not ask about your health. Health-related requirements for CDL training, such as drug testing and DOT medical certification, are handled later in the enrollment process, not through this website. If you choose to include health information in a comment or message, we use it only to respond to you, and we do not send it to advertising or analytics providers.

8. How to Request Access or Deletion

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, contact us at admin@taylormadetds.com. Please include your full name and the email address you used when contacting us. We will respond within 45 days.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults (18 years of age and older). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

10. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the personal information you provide against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Our website uses HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Access to personal information is limited to staff who need it to respond to your inquiry.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have reason to believe your information has been compromised, please contact us immediately at admin@taylormadetds.com.

11. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites (such as the FMCSA, Washington DOL, or partner organizations). This privacy policy does not apply to those websites.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, post a notice on our website. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our website after notice of a material change does not waive your rights under applicable law.
