HazMat Endorsement

2 Days · 16 Hours

Program Overview

The HazMat Endorsement certifies you to transport hazardous materials — one of the highest-demand and highest-paying credentials a commercial driver can hold. This 16-hour classroom course covers federal and state regulations, hazard identification, packaging requirements, shipping paperwork, and safe handling practices.

TSA Background Check Required

To receive your HazMat endorsement, you must complete a TSA HazMat Endorsement Threat Assessment (fingerprinting and background check). This is not required before you start class — but processing can take several weeks, so we strongly recommend starting it right away. These fees are paid directly to TSA and are not included in the school fee table. Visit tsa.gov for current TSA fee information.
